Petrov VFX

I created these VFX overlays for a short film called Petrov, which required Soviet-era style displays to enhance the tension and authenticity of the narrative. The overlays featured key elements such as the detection of a nuclear missile, a flickering launch date that changes every second, and a red warning message indicating an incomplete threat assessment as time runs out.

Once the overlays were completed, they were meticulously tracked onto each screen, with opacity adjustments made to allow the natural reflection to shine through. Additionally, timer and scanner sound effects were edited to ensure the overlays blended seamlessly with the scene, enhancing the immersive experience and completing the transformation into a natural, realistic environment.
