This is the main promotional poster for my first short film, Spread Your Wings. It features the semi-transparent face of actor Marcus Ramtohul's character 'Victor Mulele' gazing upward, visually reinforcing the film’s central message:

"Your wings already exist, you just have to learn how to fly."

The upward gaze creates a sense of wonder and longing, anchoring the poster in the character’s internal journey. Below, Mulele is also seen lying in the sand, moments after the potion overwhelms him. These two visuals — one grounded, one dreamlike — are seamlessly blended using the gradient tool and a clipping mask. The beach itself fades naturally into his head, with the top-middle portion of the shoreline carefully clipped to align with his forehead.

Mulele's face has been set to a low opacity, allowing it to merge softly with the sky above. This isn’t just a stylistic choice — it supports two symbolic layers:

- It implies a dreamlike state, blurring the line between reality and imagination.
- Mulele's flight is a vision he has while unconscious on the beach — not a reality he experiences.
